Does my data go to the cloud?+
No. Indexing and search happen on your computer. Your documents are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
What does a pilot involve?+
We help you install akasyx on your own Mac and point it at a folder you choose. Everything stays on your machine; you tell us what works and what's missing. In return: founder pricing and a direct line to the person building it.
What will it cost?+
akasyx is not on sale yet. People on the list get founder pricing, which we'll share directly before launch.
Privacy notice for this website+
Who we are. akasyx is being built by Tadayuki Kusakabe, an independent developer (company registration in Estonia pending). Contact: hello@akasyx.com.
What we collect. Only what you submit in the form: your email address, firm size, where you practise, whether you'd like a pilot, and the time you agreed — plus a one-time confirmation code, stored only in scrambled (hashed) form. We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking pixels, and we do not store your IP address.
Why. To contact you about akasyx early access and pilots, based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). We first send you one email to confirm the address is yours. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us; we then delete your entry.
Where it's stored. In a database hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes it on our behalf. Cloudflare may process data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. The confirmation email is sent through Resend, Inc. (United States), which processes your email address only to deliver it, under Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long. Until akasyx launches and we've contacted you, and no longer than 24 months — or until you ask us to delete it. Sign-ups that are not confirmed are deleted after 7 days.
Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. If you're in the EU/EEA you can also complain to your data protection authority.
